Hello!

Hi everybody! Its so good to be outside, I was getting pretty cramped in there. Now I can stretch my legs out and kick Mom and Dad a bit. Speaking of Mom and Dad, they are so cool. Probably the coolest people I know so far. Dad is really good at making noises and Mom makes me smile so much. Yep, I am a really lucky kid.

For those interested, my mom went into labour at around 12:00 am on Tuesday morning. She had contractions all day and her and dad tried to relax but that wasn't happening for any of us. They finally had enough of being at home and went to Birthcare and Women's Health in Alexandria, VA around 6:00 pm. When we arrived, my mom was 8 cm dilated and completely effaced. We thought this was going to be smooth sailing. Almost twelve hours later, I was finally born. I was as pink as I could be and I think the nurses were wondering if I was taking any performance enhancing drugs. I think it was all that flax seed oil junk mom was taking. I was 9 lbs and 1.5 oz and about 22 inches. My mom is such a trooper. Mom and dad were so happy to finally see me and I'm pretty glad that I finally got out of mom. It was getting pretty tight in there. Altogether, Mom was in labour for nearly 24 hours and she was so tired when it was all over. Well I'm off to take another nap. Email my mom for more details.
